    Dean, Heckle & Hill, Inc., was organized as a North Carolina corporation on December 21, 1981. the three founders were William G. Dean, Richard A. Heckle and Terry M. Hill. On January 1, 1984, Joseph C. Monteith joined the corporation to establish the Life and Benefits Division.
