I started Himalaya Yarn® in 1996 while working with a Tibetan family in Nepal. Together, we brought recycled silk yarn to the attention of hand knitte rs in North America. Since then, our cottage industry has expanded to include a variety of quality yarns made of silk, wool and plant-based fibers.
