Description

Texer Nam brings to our project team extensive experience in both design and construction. He is currently the Project Architect for the renovation and addition of the 36,000-square-foot LEED Silver Riverside Health Center, which is nearing completion. He also recently managed the design and construction administration of New York University’s award-winning Department of Linguistics building. Texer has worked on projects in a wide range of typologies while at 1100 including a 13,000-square-foot house, condominium tower, offices, and the AIA award-winning Brooklyn Detention Center.

This school, founded in 1921 by an educator, journalist, and psychologist, is conceptualized as a learning laboratory. It encourages students to make connections between their experiences and the world outside of the school, as well as to engage their imaginations. Our architectural approach supports this progressive philosophy. Transparency and natural light fill the school with a spirit of optimism that inspires creativity.

Jean-Cédric de Foy is a licensed architect with over 12 years of experience designing a variety of projects ranging in scale from private residences to skyscrapers. He recently joined 1100 Architect after spending five and a half years as a Project Architect for Caliper Studio Architecture & Metalworks, working largely on renovations of private residences. He is currently managing the design of a new 620,000-square-foot admissions facility on Rikers Island.
