The Waukesha Community Health Center is wholly owned and operated by the Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers a Joint Commission accredited health care provider with 45 years of experience providing the highest quality health services to diverse populations and people who face language, cultural or financial barriers.

Sixteenth Street has the unique expertise, knowledge and skills to provide quality health care to underserved populations. In support of our mission, and with the desire to leverage our unique capabilities, we will expand to serve additional underserved patients. We will partner with appropriate resources to provide a broad range of services to our community. We strive to provide an excellent workplace for our employees, reflecting the value our employees bring to the organization.

Outreach efforts include presentations to schools and community groups. Each talk is custom designed to meet the needs, educational level and language of the audience. Individualized counseling is available to prepare individuals for HIV testing, to learn about risk and harm reduction, safe sex and sexually transmitted disease prevention.

Upon successful completion of the program requirements, members receive an Education Award to use toward school expenses or student loan payments. Members also receive various trainings throughout the year, gain experience in the health and social services fields, participate in service projects and community events, and have the opportunity to provide unique and rewarding service to the SSCHC community.
