As a stay at home mom and part-time accountant for her family ’s computer consulting firm, Tobie Garcia wanted to increase her income without placing her 2 children in daycare. Encouraged by friends, Tobie, her mom, Karen Renz along with Tom Renz, Karen ’s husband, started a DVD Kiosk Rental Company to help Tobie reach her goal, ADVM 24dvd. It took off immediately securing locations at Navajo Trucking, Scooter Joes, and a contract with KOA Kampgrounds to place 15 machines in 8 states with the intent to expand to 400 additional KOA sites. With 6 short months under their belt ADVM has expanded their services creating the ultimate convenience for DVD rental lovers a “HOME DELIVERY SERVICE. ” As of June 13, 2005 ADVM 24dvd launched the first of its kind door to door personal DVD rental delivery service. Featuring over 170 new releases, recent releases and old time favorites.
