? It is with sincere pleasure that I send you this letter of recommendation. As you know, I have specialized in the ultra high end segment of the resort residential market for over 25 years. My projects have set the standards in some of the most sophisticated markets in the United States. Maui is a very difficult place to do business in and my ability to trust and count on 3D Builders to execute the high level of quality my projects demand was critical in achieving a successful end result. The 3D team was always responsive to each and every concern I had.

Our company moved through the design and construction process with you for almost a year before committing to the renovation plans-combining 475 hotel units into 200 for-sale condominium units at the former Maui Islander Hotel in Lahaina.

? We wanted to review our experience working with and bonding 3D Builders over the years. We have worked with them well over 10 years and have bonded close to 100 jobs over those years. The value of those bonded jobs is probably 40 to 50 million dollars. They have a great combination of office organization and also a tremendous amount of actual field experience within the ownership group. They also have a number of experienced and skilled project managers and we work well with all of them.

3D Builders has always recognized that style and environmental benefits go hand in hand with building green. For example, now that solar energy can be collected through photovoltaic roof tiles instead of enormous elevated panels, efficiency can be subtle and even elegant. Indoors, advancements in appliances and lighting have enabled a fresh compatibility between energy conservation and panache.

? Dear Cindy and Don, Everyone told me I was crazy for doing a custom house build while I was in North Carolina and the house was on Maui. I heard more horror stories than I care to think about, but the honest truth is my build was the exception to the rule.
