Then, real music ringtones, screensavers, wallpapers, photos and then, Mixxer – a groundbreaking mobile entertainment company with more than 50,000 fully licensed music tones, polyphonics, voice tones, sound effects, screensavers, wallpapers, mobile games and a ton of other unique content and applications for your phone. Mixxer was started as 3GUpload in 2003 by a couple of audiophile college students – Michael Slate and David Hosei – who were looking for unique content for their mobile phones. With a small staff and a passion for music, they grew a bright idea into one of the top places to discover and download the hottest mobile content.
