As one of very few Bona Certified Contractors in the U.S., we use only state-of-the-art Bona Dustless Sanding Equipment, Abrasives, and Low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) Waterborne Finishes. We guarantee not only the products specified, but that we will apply them correctly, per the manufacturer’s specifications. Don’t be fooled by dishonest contractors….. “The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of a low price”.

5280 Floors was founded in 2011 by Eric See. We started like most companies, a one-man show out of a garage. We are still a small business, with one owner and currently six team members. Our goal is continued growth, but to never get so big we stop focusing on the most important thing - the client.

Prior to starting the company, Eric was the National Sales Manager for Bona, the world leader in hardwood floor machines, abrasives, and finishes. At Bona, Eric learned the hardwood contracting business, including best practices and how to properly use the highest quality products in the industry. Most importantly, how to run it like a business and not a hobby, with processes and procedures to provide a consistent product.

We hire only proven professionals, then send them to five days of intense training to become Bona Certified prior to starting on our team. In addition, every procedure is process-mapped and tracked to ensure we provide a consistent client experience. We pride ourselves on punctuality, performance, and professionalism at every level.
