Steve has been providing energy efficiency consulting services to commercial, municipal, healthcare, food service, hospitality, and government clients since 2009. His specialties include investment-grade energy auditing and retro-commissioning (RCx), detailed energy analysis and whole-building energy modeling, trend data analysis, measurement and verification (M&V), and implementation assistance. He has first-hand experience in working directly with facility staff and contractors to see projects through to successful implementation.

Mike Renner has 10 years experience conducting engineering consulting, project management, energy audits, and LEED® commissioning services. Mr. Renner has worked with several government agencies, school districts, and private owners regarding commissioning their facilities, conducting resource efficiency programs, programming control systems, and managing the design and installation of building HVAC systems.

Project Description : Acting as the State of Louisiana’s representative, providing third party review services of the investment grade audit (baseline development and savings calculations) and measurement and verification (Option C) efforts being performed by an energy services company involving an energy savings performance contract of nine correctional facilities.

Jessica Lorentz has over 15 years of experience as an energy engineer with expertise in building energy analysis including energy auditing, retro-commissioning, commissioning, short-term monitoring and trending, measurement and verification, energy education, energy modeling, renewable energy analysis, daylighting, LEED and green building practices, greenhouse gas emission reductions, and economical analysis. She specializes in diagnosing and optimizing energy efficient strategies for HVAC and control systems to provide energy savings and improve thermal comfort for clients. She has completed over 125 projects encompassing a broad range of facilities including: office buildings, laboratories, university and research facilities, sports and recreational facilities, hospitals and healthcare campuses, schools, hotels, courthouses, military complexes, retail, supermarkets, and industrial buildings. She has also developed many analysis tools and standardized energy audit and retro-commissioning processes and forms.
