A-Reliable auto parts was initially established in 1975. Owner, Frank Heckenast, bought his first tow-truck to tow vehicles for scrap. From there he purchased land and started a small scrap business. The auto parts business was then started. Over the years, the business has grown tremendously. We have acquired over 5 different locations. We recycle more than 35,000 cars per year. We have over 100 employees. We are the largest auto and truck recycler in Illinois. We have over 90,000 square feet of buildings to store our dismantled parts. We carry most parts for all used vehicles. We carry used parts for domestic, foreign, and truck parts. We ship parts nationwide, we have free delivery service, we carry an extended warranty program, we machine test all of our engines prior to sale, and we also have a nationwide locating service.
