Cisco Meneses, owner and founder of Fire Escape Inspectional Services, got his start in the industry working for his father at their family business, Meneses Ironworks. After operating his own ironworks company in Newton, MA for many years he decided to branch out into the Fire Escape business after having had the idea in his mind for some 25 years. Fire Escape Inspectional Services is the first company in New England that deals exclusively with Fire Escape Repair and Inspection and since then he has pioneered the way for other similar companies to enter into his industry.
The National Fire Escape Association (NFEA) exists to represent the fire escape industry by serving its members and affiliated state and local building, housing inspectors and fire prevention officials. The NFEA members, who are involved in all aspects of a diversified fire escape industry, create jobs for millions of people and contribute significantly to the economic activity and overall safety of their community, the nation and the world.
