TWO NEW SCIENTIFIC ADVISORS JOIN ABC TEAM Columbia, Missouri - 06/03/14 ABC Laboratories is pleased to introduce the newest additions to our team. Industry veterans Harley Wilcox and James Schmidt have joined ABC as senior scientific advisors. In this role, they will work with ABC clients and field representative to develop phase-appropriate approaches to scientific and development issues. They'll help scope work to be performed in our laboratories to ensure clients receive clear, well thought-out proposals; and will help troubleshoot technical issues if they arise.

Located in Boston, Dan will be working with ABC clients throughout New England and much of the Mid-Atlantic. With 20-plus years in contract research, development and manufacturing, he has extensive experience in biopharmaceuticals, extractables and leachables, metals analysis and all aspects of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) testing.

ABC LABORATORIES SENIOR SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF SETAC REGIONAL CHAPTER Columbia, Missouri - 05/05/14 ABC Senior Scientific Advisor, Jon Rhodes, was appointed Vice President of the Ozark-Prairie chapter of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry at its annual meeting May 19-21 held in Stillwell, Kansas. Mr. Rhodes will assume role of President for the following two years. "It's a real honor to serve SETAC membership and represent ABC in this capacity," said Rhodes, who has been a member of SETAC for more than 20 years.

12/10/13: ABC LABORATORIES AND UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI ANNOUNCE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM The University of Missouri Department of Biochemistry and ABC Laboratories have announced a joint initiative to offer science majors first-hand work experience in private industry. The MU Department of Biochemistry will offer a 5-credit course titled Biochemistry 4001—Industry Internship.
