I have had the opportunity to use Great Bear on several occasions. When my volvo needed diagnosis as to the issue and for body work on my son's Altima. Many times when you bring your car for service, the process is one which can wear you out. My family has been going to Great Bear for over 20 years. I don't trust anyone else. I am actually moving 35 miles away and I will travel to Flushing to go to Great Bear. Having had the same mechanic for over 20 years, the search for a honest, friendly, reasonably priced, expeditious auto services, was a troublesome and costly journey. Gradually increasing the radius from my home, I one day ended up Great Bear in Flushing. That was approximetely 2 years ago, and I have been a satisfied Great Bear customer ever since.

Obviously, if you have a mechanic you trust and admire, it may be well worth your time to ask to have this mechanic check out the vehicle before you buy it. Yet this may not always be possible; garages often have appointments booked solid and it can be difficult to pull a mechanic from his job to have him or her inspect your purchase at a dealer or in someone's driveway. Few sellers are willing to wait for three weeks or more to give you time to get their car checked out and you may lose any deposit you place if you wait so long another buyer steps in.
