Description

Laura has been an active investor in software and technology services companies since joining ABS Capital in 1997. She has experience in building growth companies in the technology sector, working with portfolio companies on the key strategic and operational issues they face. Laura has led investments in applications and infrastructure software, Internet, mobile and consumer technologies.

James is actively involved in accounting, regulatory and tax issues affecting the private equity industry and its portfolio companies. He is a member of the National Venture Capital Association CFO Task Force, on the board of the Washington Chapter of the Private Equity CFO Association, and is a frequent panelist at private equity industry conferences. He is also a member of the Private Company Financial Reporting Committee, formed by the FASB and AICPA to provide recommendations to the FASB as it sets accounting standards for privately-held enterprises.

Based in San Francisco, Cass is a Principal at ABS Capital Partners whose investment interests include software, cloud-delivered services and digital media. With a passion for building industry-transforming companies, Cass has spent his entire career advising, operating and investing in growth-stage technology companies. At ABS Capital, Cass enjoys partnering with executives to hone corporate strategy, execute financial transactions and build disciplined sales processes.
