ACI 340b Management

Description

The 340b program enables covered entities to stretch scarce Federal resources as far as possible, reaching more eligible patients and providing more comprehensive services. Eligible hospitals may save an average of 25% to 50% on drug purchases for outpatient pharmacy distribution (excluding orphan drugs for CAHs, sole community or rural referral). The 340b cash plan will give finacially challenged patients the opportunity to afford to fill the prescriptions they may not have had before.
