Description
Generally, we do not share Automatically Submitted Data, Voluntarily Submitted Data or Other Collected Data with third parties. However, we do share such data with those third-party service providers who fulfill your orders or transactions, contact you on our behalf, or facilitate some other aspect of ACLU of Maryland activities, services or products, including those third-party service providers who collect, process, store and transmit information we collect on this website on our behalf and those third-party service providers we use to assist us in our fundraising and communications efforts.
The ACLU of Maryland’s legislative program is dedicated to protecting the rights and liberties of all Marylanders and we work with local, statewide, and federal leaders to realize the promise of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. In addition to these priorities, the ACLU acts as our state's first responder on bills that threaten rights.
The ACLU of Maryland is dedicated to making our state a place where LGBT people can live openly, where their identities, relationships and families are respected and where there is fair treatment on the job and in schools, housing, public places, health care, and government programs. The ACLU filed a lawsuit seeking marriage licenses for same-sex couples in Maryland, and ever since we have strongly advocated in the courts, in the legislature, and in communities for the freedom to marry.
We may also share the Voluntarily Submitted Data of members and donors who are U.S. residents with other non-profit organizations and publications ("Sharing Organizations"), but never to any partisan political groups or to groups whose programs are incompatible with ACLU of Maryland policies.
