Founded in 1897 by Clinton C. Filson himself, the craftsmen at Filson believe that no one can craft their heavy wolls, rugged cottons and genuine Bridle Leather with the same quality and durability that they do. An ambitious claim to make, but as they have been in business for over a century it's one we're confident that they live up to with each product in their catalog. C.C. Filson was a homesteader, and a railroad conductor before settling into the city of Seattle during the 1890's. In 1897, the Great Klondike Gold Rush had taken America by storm, and thousands flocked north.
