AC General, Inc specializes in Power Distribution products for Equipment Rack applications. We offer a series of standard single and three phase power distribution panels (PDUs) and a variety of AC control panels, lockout panels, and cabling. We provide complete systems to meet most equipment rack distribution requirements. Founded in 1987, AC General has remained a small company focused on supplying creative solutions to our long list of customers that include Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Textron, Military Depots, and small OEMs. We have a dedicated staff that can provide Electrical, Mechanical, and packaging expertise for almost any equipment rack power distribution application. Typical power distribution configurations are based on standard AC line voltages (120, 120/208, 480 VAC), standard currents (20, 30, 60 Amp), 50, 60, and 400 Hertz. We design single and multi-panel distribution systems with all the necessary cabling and connectors. AC General PDUs can be controlled utilizing a remote switch panel with a low voltage control circuit. Various options for On/Off and Emergency Power control are available. Phase, voltage, and frequency monitoring can be incorporated into most PDUs for a high level of control and protection. Application specific control schemes, other line voltages and higher amperage circuits can be integrated into custom designed systems to meet your needs.
