Founded in Apopka Florida in 1978, AeroDoor International LLC is a family owned company, committed to the manufacturing, installation and post sales services of aircraft hangar doors, coiling doors and sectional overhead doors.

AeroDoor worked closely with the general contractor and building manufacturer to deliver hangar doors on a project that includes up to 18 nested t-hangars and two executive box hangars. Each tenant has either a bi-parting sliding door, or AeroDoor's one-piece hydraulic swing door which is manufactured in a new 42,000SQFT all purpose manufacturing facility. AeroDoor’s hangar doors were designed to meet Florida building code standards and built to Brevard County’s tough 160MPH exposure C wind load requirements.
John Mathews also serves as a region director of the International Door Association . The I.D.A. is a 2,000-plus member trade organization, focused on providing programs and services to door and access system manufacturers for the primary purpose of enhancing their value and professionalism.
AeroDoor has completed another highly specified bottom rolling door project at Cecil Field in Jacksonville, Florida. The project consisted of a 144' x 28', 8 panel bi-parting door system with an in-frame motor operating system and several electrical interlocks. The top track, bottom rail and complete door system was designed, engineered, manufactured and installed by AeroDoor employees. AeroDoor assisted the pre-engineered metal building manufacturer with the design of the overhead structural system and closure.
