This includes the major disciplines of Civil/Site, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and construction services. Founded in 1988, AES Group restructured to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) in 2002. AES Group provides innovative designs with our senior professional engineers building lasting relationships, upon the cornerstone of quality services. Sound design and constructible projects at AES Group develop as a result of several important factors: project experience, design experience, technology, materials analysis and data gathering. All of these factors working together create quality and well-crafted products. AES Group is thoroughly familiar with the design requirements associated with construction, renovation, maintenance, and repair for various government facilities throughout the US, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of the Army, the National Mine Safety & Health Academy (MSHA), and the US Air Force. The Team is knowledgeable and compliant with government design criteria including DOD, USACE and United Facilities Criteria standards and specifications. AES Group takes pride in the quality of our work and we build time for quality control into our schedules. Quality in a project is much more than merely quality assurance/control programs carried out by the project participants. It is a state of mind of all involved in the project that places quality foremost. It requires a major communication effort during the entire process to keep all parties informed of the vital elements of work and the concerns of the owner, design professional, and constructor. Other Specialized Experience As a member of Roof Consultants, Incorporated, AES Group performs structural analysis of existing roof framing systems for adequacy to support replacement roof loads, and complete mechanical and electrical designs for HVAC upgrades, roof top penetrations, fire/smoke vents, and other roof penetrations. AES Group has a firm commitment to use today’s technology to provide services and project designs for our clients. Using the latest technology, AES Group tempers computer designs with years of practical, hands-on engineering experience to provide quality service to our valued clients. Our design technicians are familiar with AutoCAD 2007 and government CADD standards. We have developed secure web pages, and successfully implemented transfer of large data files (drawings, etc) via client ftp sites. AES Group. has completed dozens of Code Compliance plan reviews and is also a member of the International Code Council.
