Description

The Korean Institute of Plant Engineering and Construction (KIPEC) is our principal partner opposite side of the globe from our global headquarters in Virginia, USA, and boasting over one-hundred and fifty (150) AFE Certified Plant Engineers (CPE's). Within the past year our partner in Kuala Lumpur, Maylasia, has recently completed training its' fortieth (40th) AFE Certified Plant Maintenance Management (CPMM) student. In 2012 we welcomed our first Nigerian student.

The levels of commitment and associated benefits are broken down into five categories in order to best meet the needs of each Global Technical Partner. Benefits include: Advertising in the Facilities Engineering Journal and AFE e-newsletter, AFE website recognition, webinar sponsorship, networking with AFE leaders and more.

The Association of Facilities Engineers (AFE) was incorporated in 1954 as the American Institute of Plant Engineers ( AIPE ) by Richard Morris, Sig Simonson, and Theodore Ramond as a national organization to unify the assortment of plant engineer clubs already organized.

Joel is a graduate of Elon University and founder of SkillTV. With over twenty years experience in the maintenance and workforce development sectors, he is passionate about the need for companies to promote maintenance as sound career choice for young workers. He has spoken at many maintenance conferences and assisted many companies to improve their strategic direction with respect to employee recruitment, development and retention programs.
