Description

– AFYA is the prime contractor on a CDC-wide IDIQ contract to provide a range of health communication services. The contract, “Health Marketing, Training, and Consultation Services,” was established to provide CDC with access to companies like AFYA , which are experienced in using up-to-date communication tools and strategies to inform and influence health-related decisions and improve public health.

AFYA uses technology-based solutions, including computer-based training and videoconferences, to facilitate the training process. We have support staff who are experienced in providing a full range of administrative services to support face-to-face training–from managing the registration process to providing onsite support at sessions.

SAMHSA-Wide IDIQ Vehicle – AFYA is approved to provide services in three domains on this vehicle—program support, training and technical assistance, and health communications. Under this contract (and previous SAMHSA contracts), AFYA has supported the following programs and/or initiatives.

GSA Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) and Advertising and Integrated Marketing Solutions (AIMS) Schedules – AFYA is an approved contractor under the GSA’s MOBIS schedule. AFYA is approved to provide management consulting, meeting facilitation, and survey services. AFYA is also approved to provide marketing, public relations, and meeting planning services on GSA’s AIMS schedule.

The word “afya” means health in Swahili. AFYA, Inc.
