always do your homework up front, because this is hopefully a 10-12 year committment. I have been showing, breeding and training German Shepherds for over 40 years, and of course I think they are the best breed of all. They are very loyal and they bond to one person for life. They love and protect the whole family. But only one person is their God. and they want to be with that person all the time.
