Description

AM Computers headquartered in Santa Monica, CA, was founded in 1989 by a group of former programmers and systems analysts who met while working for Burroughs (Unisys) Corporation. The original focus was on developing custom hardware and software solutions and offering maintenance contracts on a variety of hardware platforms. As the computer industry evolved and the PC became more prominent in the small business environment, AM Computer’s focus was directed away from the old mainframes and started to target systems integration on business PCs.
