APCOM manufactures tens of millions of fittings annually. Our fittings are welded to tanks to provide mounting for pipe nipples, heating elements, drain valves and other applications. We manufacture fittings in 3/4” NPT, and 1” NPT and 1” NPSM for either projection or MIG welding. We also manufacture element plugs and flanges for elements.

Our team structure and corporate values allow APCOM to remain flexible and focused. We are flexible enough to provide small batch assembly or large volume production with a focus on providing individual attention and quick response times for all customers. Our capabilities include metal stamping, metal cold forming, metal plating, plastic injection molding, design, engineering, and manufacturing of OEM parts.

The Protective Coatings Group (PCD) is located in Florence, Kentucky. Featuring manufacturing equipment designed with the latest technology available, PCD manufactures custom porcelain enamel coatings to meet the needs of its worldwide customer base and has been in the current location since 1984. The protective coatings group was added to the APCOM portfolio of products in 2002.

Currently our customers consist of OEM manufacturers of water heating, process, medical, foodservice, and HVAC devices. APCOM successfully provides all customers with high-quality products to fit their current service part needs. Our sales and design engineering groups work with manufacturers to ensure they have the parts to meet the requirements of their application as each region may differ in water heater sales.
