The Family-Owned & Closely-Held Business Awards ceremony was hosted by the Business Journal on Nov. 5 at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar. The after-hours gathering recognized the accomplishments of businesses in the county that are family owned or closely held and honored nine businesses in three categories - small, medium and large. In addition, four Special Diamond Sponsor Awards were presented to select participants. ATS Advanced Trustee Strategies was selected as the finalist for the small business category.
