Hastings has a proud New England legacy. Our company was founded in 1846 in Boston, and has been serving the needs of the millwork industry ever since. Today, Hastings’ corporate offices and distribution center are located in Enfield CT. We also have sales and service personnel located throughout our distribution area, ready to meet the needs of our retailers as well as the architects, contractors and homeowners they serve.

Founded in Boston in 1846, the longevity of our company is a unique asset to which few companies can lay claim. As Treasurer Jody Hoyt put it, “Our longevity means that this company possesses a heritage of resiliency, reliability and a depth of experience that comes not only from good times but from surviving the hard times that result from recessions, depressions wars, fires and floods.

In reflecting about our experience with Habitat, President Dusty Hoyt noted that Hastings, founded in 1846, is a business which has experienced the ups and downs of commerce over the years.
