Primary Objective Our primary objective is to strengthen our relationship with existing customers by improving customer service, and expanding products and value-added services to help our customers build their business. We will deliver on this commitment by investing in the re-design of our warehouse and information technology to enable consistent and accurate orders, and upgrading the training and development of our employees to enable them to provide better service.

Founded in Charleston, West Virginia in 1913 by Albert F. Wendling, our company has grown to become the largest independent family-owned and operated broadline food service distributor in West Virginia, serving the Mountain State and border markets in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Behind the leadership of third-generation owner and President, Chris Wendling, we look forward to celebrating our 100th Anniversary, driven by a strategy to be as efficient as larger companies with the ability to respond more quickly and personally to customer needs.
