Astream is a Streaming Media company founded in 1999. We offer clients Internet and mobile phone broadcasting solutions. We aim to build brand recognition, customer base and to grow revenues for our customers through the use of the latest technology. Astream is the Winner of the Best Streaming Host Award from the Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA) in 2007, 2008 and 2009 (An unprecedented three years in a row). Epitiro independently tests our server infrastructure for several months each year from various different locations and ISPs. The tests include: Video Availability, start up time, non playing time, rebuffering time, percentage of bandwidth used and packet loss. Astream’s Video On Demand and Live systems can provide delivery in a variety of bit rates and formats. Using the latest streaming technology Astream can broadcast video to large numbers of viewers on the Internet. Managing Director Alex Wolfe is a well known industry expert and consultant who has pioneered Streaming since 1996. He is a regular speaker at conferences and events globally and is the Chairman of International Webcasting Association (IWA) for Europe. Astream has worked for leading companies such as CNBC Europe (NBC Universal, GE), Cadburys, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Ofcom, News International, Pearson, BT, Procter & Gamble, Lonely Planet, NDS, Blackwell Publishing, Reebok, Toyota, Mazda, Citroen, and Mercedes Benz. In 2007 & 2008 we produced the global Live Webcast for the BAFTAs. Myleene Klass was our Web TV presenter doing interviews on the red carpet in order to create exclusive content for them.
