The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is a professional association of 38,000 general dentists dedicated to providing quality dental care and oral health education to the public. AGD members stay up-to-date in their profession through a commitment to continuing education. Founded in 1952, the AGD is the second largest dental association in the United States, and it is the only association that exclusively represents the needs and interests of general dentists.

Dr. De Rossi received his DMD from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine and completed his post-doctoral training in Oral Medicine at the University Of Pennsylvania Medical Center. Dr. De Rossi has maintained an active practice limited to Oral Medicine for over 14 years. He achieved Diplomate status from the American Board of Oral Medicine in 1999. Currently a Professor of Oral Medicine at Georgia RegentsCollege of Dental Medicine. He holds joint faculty appointments in the Departments of Dermatology and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery in the Medical College of Georgia.
