The owner/principal of the ABACUS CPA Group, PC is Carl Chandler, CPA. Carl is a native of Michigan and has been a Novi resident for nearly 25 years. He and his wife Sally, a teacher in Novi, have four children. Carl is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Since graduation, he has had over 25 years of experience in accounting, tax, and finance. He spent his first six years as a Certified Public Accountant with the firm of Arthur Andersen & Company, and the next six years as Chief Financial Officer of RPM Pizza, Incorporated, the largest franchisee of Domino's Pizza. For the last 13 years, Carl has had an accounting and tax office in Novi, providing small business owners with the types of services described on the Services tab of this website. Among Carl's professional affiliations are memberships in the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Novi Chamber of Commerce.
