Description

Ability Network provides services and supports for Missouri residents of all ages with developmental delays. Since the company's inception in 1989, ABILITY has been the focus of all the work we do. We are experienced providers for infants and toddlers, children and youth, adults and agencies. Our professional staff, located throughout Missouri, is dedicated to supporting individuals in their natural homes and community environments. Our belief is that services and supports should be incorporated into the family's or individual's already existing daily schedules and should not create added burdens or unnecessary interruption for families or the individual. We provide our services as needed in the individual or family's home, day care setting, school or other locations as required. Services are funded through a variety of sources including First Steps, Department of Mental Health (Medicaid Waiver, POS, and Medicaid), Department of Health, School Districts, Senate Bill 40 Boards and other county or local groups. Ability Network is an approved private agency for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and provides contractual services for many school districts, particularly those in rural areas.
