Able Manufacturing & Assembly, LLC is a provider of contract manufactured assemblies, selling to internationally recognized OEMs. Products are manufactured from multiple processes and business systems offering a single source solution to its customers. The Company is headquartered in Joplin Missouri, and has been in business since 1954. Able specializes in light metal fabrication, welding, open and close molded composite fiberglass, thermoform plastics, class A finish paint and cab/ component assembly.

Able Manufacturing & Assembly has over 50 years’ of experience fabricating and assembling components for OEM, agriculture, military, oil drilling, and other industries. We provide finished components via either open or closed mold (Light Resin Transfer Molding) forming; composed of a gel coat layer followed by fiberglass infused with resins to match the application of the component. We utilize non fire-retardant and fire-retardant resins depending upon the application and provide the ultimate in Class A High Gloss finishes with painted or molded-in color gel coat.

Able Manufacturing & Assembly offers design, manufacturing, and assembly of specialty vehicle cabs for the agriculture, construction, oil & gas, bus, rail, RV and military industries. Our engineering staff works with our customers to design a cab that meets their specific needs. Cabs are fabricated using MIG and TIG welding, bonding, and mechanical fastening. Cabs are produced from aluminum, steel, or stainless steel with Henrob wall constructions and tabular frame constructions, in sizes up to 6‘x 8’.

Able Manufacturing & Assembly’s integrated services and multiple process capabilities enable us to provide fabrication for complex assemblies resulting in a turn-key cab for our customers. The project highlighted here was designed to keep the operators of a large boom lifts safe, secure, and protected from the elements. It features a precision-welded aluminum frame with a class A paint finish, polycarbonate windows, and watertight construction.
