Founded in 1984, Able Tool Corporation quickly grew to become one of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky's most reliable project shops. Throughout the years, Able Tool has remained a leader in prototype work, short-run manufacturing, and rebuild and repair of process machinery. The original location was a 2,500-square foot rented facility in Forest Park. Within two short years, the rapid growth of the company meant a need for more space a lot more space. In 1987, a 22,123 square-foot climate-controlled facility located on five and one-half acres in Lockland, Ohio, was completed. In 1990, Able Tool Corporation purchased The Gilman Company, Batavia, Ohio, whose specialty was large computer-controlled machining. The equipment was incorporated into the company, broadening all capabilities and customer base. Able Tool continues expanding - our equipment, capabilities, and customer base. What makes Able Tool different than many of our competitors is our ability to serve a variety of customers from small stock parts to major modernization of plants.
