James Abshire is a Beaumont native who graduated from Lamar University in 1989 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. James has owned and managed many businesses over the years. James has been involved in the building business for over 20 years. He is a member of the Home Builders Association and avidly purses his love for home building and development.The fact that James loves the hands-on portion of home building is portrayed in his interest in the development of River Birch Place. On any given day you can find James performing tasks from drawing home plans and meeting with clients to planning and building the community. He always finds the time to visit with new and existing clients and works diligently to make their dreams come true. James loves music, is a member of his local church and community orchestra, having played the trumpet for over 25 years. He is also an avid skier and movie buff. James is Married, he and his wife Kerri have 5 children.
