About Academy Looseleaf Academy Looseleaf was established in 1994 by a group of experienced binder manufacturing professionals lead by Pat Rainey, the current President of Academy. The company has grown steadily over 10 years and now produces several million custom binders and packages a year in its modern facility in Nashville, TN. Its operations include Crathern automatic case makers, multi-station heat sealers, turntables, side-by-side shuttles, rivet and stamping machines, and other state of the art equipment—operated by seasoned veterans who are skilled in producing either small quantities or tens of thousands of high quality, price competitive, custom binders and packages for any client.
