We provide a group coaching program (boot camp) for senior leadership development (chief executives or their team members) twice a year specific to guiding intact teams for greater performance and alignment — team effectiveness. My personal specialty is facilitating intact executive teams toward greater effectiveness.

Most people have NO IDEA I even had a cancer experience much less get any clue from me about the life-giving aspects of the experience. That experience, by the way, was 19 years ago. I am guilty of not leading with my vulnerability as Peter has done here. It did not seem relevant to the pursuit of my passion which is to make a difference in the world with teams — unlike Peter I am not working in the area of my illness — people don't need to know I have experienced a life-altering near-death experience in order to appreciate the value I bring to them. It's not about me anyway.

A solid leadership pipeline requires buy-in and support at the senior level to be successful. You will need to assess your future leaders’ competencies to perform new roles relative to what your company needs to do to be successful this year. Once potential leaders are identified for transition, you should begin their development plan immediately, with clearly set expectations and priorities, well before their promotion.

Start with a quality product of service: Absolute important is having a quality product and/ or service to start with. Do not get this wrong and mixed up with clever or really unique. Excellent execution of what you have to offer to customers is essential in making sure that there is long term sustainability for your organization.
