Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) is a professional designation awarded by the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants (IARFC) to those financial advisors who can meet the high standards of education, experience and integrity that are required of all its members. In a society that grows more complex every day, consumers are presented with the need to balance personal financial security with the constant pressures of family, career, community responsibilities and personal enrichment. The financial marketplace is ever-changing with new laws, regulations, products and conflicting media messages. Making the right moves at the right time is critical to accomplishing personal objectives. Kim Carlson has been in the finance and accounting profession since 1980, starting her own consulting business in 1984 and receiving her RFC designation in 2003. In the same year, she received her Loan Officer certification from the School of Mortgage Lending. Kim has also been a student of technology since the early 1980's, studying programming, then becoming proficient at computer graphics. This led to creating and updating web sites for a number of clients.
