Accounting Strategies Group, LLC is a Certified Public Accounting firm located on Maryland's Eastern Shore. With offices in Preston and Centreville, we serve clients in the mid-shore area, as well as the surrounding states. Our company specializes in working with closely held businesses and their owners. The firm is licensed by the state of Maryland and also holds a permit with the state of Delaware for financial statement services. Kitzy has been employed in public accounting for over 15 years. Kitzy has performed in many capacities during her career in the accounting industry. She began working for a local CPA firm in the early 1990s. In January 2007, Kitzy passed the Enrolled Agent examination issued by the Internal Revenue Service. The Enrolled Agent program is specifically licensed and maintained by the IRS and allows her to represent taxpayers in all aspects of taxation. Kitzy has also been a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor since 2004.
Lisa has been in the public accounting field since 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Stevenson University (Villa Julie College) in 2005 and her Masters in Business Administration from Salisbury University in 2006. Lisa passed the CPA exam in May 2007. Lisa focuses on accounting and tax reporting for small businesses as well as providing review and audit services. She also offers support and training for clients as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
