NEW YORK (NOVEMBER 5, 2010) -- PwC US and Accruit, LLC today announced they have formed a joint business relationship to provide like-kind exchange ("LKE") services, combining their leading positions in providing LKE program services to more than 150 clients across 20 industries.

We work directly with our clients’ internal accounting, tax and treasury teams to structure exchanges that meet our client’s business objectives with exchanges that are compliant with existing regulations. Our experience has helped us develop proven best practices around the design and implementation of qualified intermediary services for our clients. We have experience working with companies whose current asset management program does not currently anticipate 1031 exchanges.

The joint business relationship (JBR) enables PwC and Accruit to work together, where permitted by professional and regulatory requirements, to deliver a combined, end-to-end, high volume LKE program solution that leverages PwC’s experience in providing LKE tax advisory services and Accruit’s expertise in delivering LKE QI services for corporate clients. Both companies work together to provide thought leadership, advanced advice and legislative advocacy to continue shaping the 1031 industry.
