Description

AccuSentry was founded by Dr. Wei Siong Tan in 1991 in response to high volume manufacturers' needs for automated inspection systems that were simple to implement and friendly to machine operators, and that were easily configurable and versatile to meet changing needs. From 1985 to 1991 Dr. Wei Siong Tan was a key member of a research team developing a set of Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) chips for the image processing of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) of missile interceptors at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Utilizing the extensive image processing and computer engineering and software background, Dr. Tan and a team of talented engineers developed the versatile, stable, configurable, and integrated Sentry 9000 automated inspection system. Starting out as a member of the Advanced Technology Development Center and offering innovative technology, product versatility, and superb service, AccuSentry quickly gained traction and was soon installing systems at fortune 100 multi-national companies. AccuSentry continuously leads the Vision Industry in Research and Development for its already proven High Speed Advance Image Processing Technology and Severe Industrial Environment Stability.
