Acme Speed Shop is located in Greenville, South Carolina and is owned and operated by Hap Waldrop. We have raced British cars in the SCCA for over 20 years competing at the top level of amatuer road racing. Hap has been in the automotive repair business for over 25 years. In 2001 Hap created Acme Speed Shop so he could focus on his true passion, British performance and racing cars, engines and parts. Acme Speed Shop is a small shop, other than some part time helpers and my wife doing the books in her spare time, it's just me, so please be patient on return emails or phone calls, I'll make sure to get back to you as quick as I can, but sometimes with a small shop you have to forget the phone and computer and go out in th shop and get work done, so I will get back to you, just not always immediately. If for some reason I don't return your email or phone call, please call or email me back sometimes I get more phone calls and emails than a one man shop can handle. On a good side of things, Acme Speed Shop has been covered up with work from day one, so most of the work in line is all accounted for by our customers, that's why we never have engines or SU carbs already built for stock, I have never got caught up with customer orders since I opened the doors, which I guess is a good problem to have. At our shop our specailty is rebuilding engines, we do anything from a full out race engine to a stock rebuild...
