Founded in the United States in 1938, Acme traces its roots back four generations to natural sponge merchants in Greece. Acme is not just a sponge company anymore, having grown into a diverse multi-national company with a presence in New Zealand, Florida and Turkey. The product mix is now made up of natural sponges, genuine chamois leather, synthetic sponges, natural loofah and loofah products, bath and body brushes, and assorted cleaning accessories.
