Dear Diane, I wanted to update you on Baron, a black male Labrador retriever (I purchased him on February 15, 2007). I can not believe that he will be having his 3rd birthday his year. I could not be anymore happy with my purchase of him. I have received so MANY compliments on his disposition and what a beautiful lab he is. My vet who has had labs his whole life and graduated from The Ohio State Vet school said that he was one of the best looking labs that he has come across. I have trained Baron myself ever since he was a puppy and continue to reinforce his training on a daily basis. His favorite thing to do is upland bird hunting. His drive and his nose match that with some of the regionally ranked dogs. If someone is looking for a hunting/companion dog I would HIGHLY recommend you. I can not tell you how many birds he has flushed up and retrieved for me even in thick brush. He always wants to work and you can tell how proud he is when he is working. Always waging his tail and always waiting for the next retrieve. A lot of my friends who are serious hunters always want me to come along or take Baron for the day when they do go bird hunting because they know he will produce consistent results. I have heard amazing things about your dogs, and have finally seen them first hand. I am an underwriter for Allstate. I used to work the district in the Scio area. I heard from more than one Allstate agent( I believe that you were highly referred by the ladies at Allstate insurance in town, amongst others) that you would be the lady to speak to about dogs. I just recently purchased a home with my fiance. We happened to move next door to Ken and Cyndi. They have a beautiful yellow lab named Murphy. I don't know if you remember Murphy or not. She is about 6-7 years old, and is the most amazing lab I have ever seen. Ken and Cyndi told me hands down, you are the one to go to, and after seeing the results with Murphy, the calmest happiest friendliest dog ever (Kayla has nicknamed her the Dog Mayor because all dogs, kids and parents for 6 blocks know Murphy) I am convinced that I would love to get a female yellow lab for Kayla. I was wondering if you had some puppies ready around Christmas, or even a little after would be fine? Any additional information you could give me to help me with the process would be greatly appreciated. I would like to keep this as a Christmas present, but as I said, I can always wrap dog toys, and let her pick the puppy out later. Or maybe a frame with a picture of Murphy haha. Dear Diane Diane, I just wanted to send you a quick note regarding the yellow Lab puppy we purchased from you in May 2008. Grace has quickly become a very important and special part of our family. Our two sons (Alex 11 and Jack 8) are absolutely in love with her – she has the perfect combination of a very gentle disposition and high energy.
