Description

We started Acorn in early 2005 with the goal of providing the best pre-school experience for our own children. We faced many of the same challenges and had the same concerns that all first time parents have. My spouse and I both had fast paced, high pressure careers when our first child was born. Prior to opening Acorn we enrolled our child in a number of different schools and daycares in the area. We tried the big centers, small centers, and home-based centers. With each experience we learned something new about pre-schools. We realized that while each different type of program had its virtues, none of them was the "perfect" place for our family. We created Acorn Learning Academy with the goal of providing the best quality child care and teaching environment for our children.
