The Dallesport Foundry was built and established in 1993. The original name was the Canica Foundry and it was started in Dallesport, WA. It was later renamed as Impact Alloys and in 1997 the facility was sold and became the Dallesport Foundry Inc. The foundry was started primarily to produce chrome iron castings exclusively for Canica VSI Crushers, Inc. This continued until 1997, when it began to branch out and produce castings for all different types of impact crushers, aggregate washing equipment, and mining wear liners.
