Pro Guide Jeff “Action” Jackson Jeff has fished rivers, streams, and lakes across North American, including Canada, Hawaii, and Alaska. Originally educated in fisheries biology at Humboldt State University, Jeff mixes his knowledge of salmonid life history with his specialized fishing experience on Central Oregon Coastal rivers and lakes. In addition to guiding in Oregon, Jeff has also guided the Togiak River for Bristol Bay Lodge in Alaska, recently rated in the top three fishing lodges in North America by Field and Stream. Jeff writes a weekly newspaper column appearing in the Siuslaw News on fishing, boating, river safety and natural history of fish. Jeff is a Pro-staff Member with Berkley, Gamakatsu, and Fish-Rite.
