Standards-Based Lesson Design guides the participants to develop standards-based instructional lesson sequences. These instructional lesson sequences stem directly from patterns of performance found in the state content standards—the skills of accessing the content, interpreting the content, producing a high quality product, and disseminating what was learned. This pattern provides a focus and structure to all standards-based classrooms.
