A native of England, Donna brings more than 15 years of experience in donor relations, data management and analysis to her position at Action Ministries. Donna came to Atlanta after 10 years in Westchester County, New York, where she worked with Mercy College and the American Red Cross. Previously, Donna worked for the Atlanta Women’s Foundation, where she raised funds to provide life-changing programs and services to disadvantaged women and girls. Joining Action Ministries was a natural transition, as its mission aligned perfectly with her passions and volunteer activities.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Millsaps College in Jackson, Miss., Steve worked in the banking field for more than 15 years, largely as a bank examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Steve earned a master’s degree at Emory’s Candler School of Theology. He is a lifelong United Methodist and has worked with Action Ministries since 2004. He enjoys watching the Atlanta Braves, playing golf, camping and eating fried catfish.

Independence and self-sufficiency are the cornerstones of all three of our housing programs at Action Ministries. We provide our clients with immediate relief – housing, furniture, financial assistance, etc. – but our most important goal is getting them to the point where they are able to build and maintain stability on their own.

Our mission is to mobilize metro Atlanta communities to address the challenges of poverty by focusing on hunger relief, housing and education.
