Action Physical Therapy, Inc was established in 1984 by Michel Hanson, PT, who has been treating orthopedic and sports related injuries as a physical therapist for over 35 years. We have developed an approach to therapeutic exercise based on a kinetic chain model and motor control theories of function. It has evolved from the philosophy of Gary Gray, PT and the conditioning methods of Vern Gambetta, MA. It utilizes as much of the kinetic chain as possible to facilitate and load the targeted tissue. This is a truly functional approach to rehabilitation, placing the body in functional positions and requiring segmental stabilization, force production and force absorption.
